Online consultation fee – We charge a consultation fee to consumers which is passed on to the respective doctors after deducting a standard platform development and operations fee.
Medicine delivery charges – We have authorized partners who deliver medicines to consumers, this works on standard revenue sharing model. Doctors are asked to provide the following documents as a first step.
Government issued photo ID (Passport/Aadhaar/PAN Card)
Their MCI registration number
Copies of their medical degrees if these are not already updated in their MCI registration
Once the above-mentioned documents are submitted, our team verifies the information against the medical council database.

We help you connect to a doctor in just 5minutes. All you have to do is tell us your symptoms or health problems, choose the specialty, and make a payment. Our on-call agent will help you make a decision and also guide you through the process of making the payment. Once payment is made, we alert our panel of verified, high-quality doctors and allocate a doctor to your consultation. In 5minutes, you can start talking to a doctor. Once your consultation is completed, you can even follow up with the doctor for free for a period of 2 days, if required.
Our doctors will give you qualified medical advice on your health issues and help you identify the next steps, which may include further tests, consultation, a prescription, or lifestyle tips. We have built features like image sharing, voice calling and video call (only on the app) to ensure that doctors get all the required information for a diagnosis. On the off chance that our doctors can’t form a conclusive diagnosis without a physical examination, they will cancel the consultation & refund your money.
We have a thorough verification process for every doctor. Any doctor that you consult with is a verified medical practitioner with all their qualifications documents manually and electronically verified by our team. We have the free questions service available on our website / app. Please download our app and log in to ask a free health question to doctors. Doctors usually respond within 24 to 48 hours of you posting your query.
As per the telemedicine guidelines published on 25th March 2020 by the MCI in partnership with the NITI Aayog, online consultations(delivery of healthcare over a digital medium) with a doctor are deemed perfectly legal. Patients and doctors can interact with each other digitally over various media. Abhicure offers a secure and encrypted platform for patients to connect with doctors online. It allows patients and doctors to interact at their own convenience. Please note that online consultations are not recommended for emergency cases.
As per regulatory requirements, all audio and video calls done during an online consultation with the doctor, will be recorded and stored in a secure manner.The video calls are recorded, but will not be shared with you or the doctor. They will only be shared with a competent authority upon explicit request, in case of a medico-legal requirement.

Once your profile is verified, you will be able to answer free questions submitted by patients. These patients have an option to pay and continue chatting with you, if you respond to their free questions. For chat and video-based consultation, you will be paid according to the compensation discussed with you.
We will show you the exact place in the website where you can enter your bank details. All fields on the bank details page are mandatory, so we request you keep the information handy. Once your bank details are saved, we will run a bank verification. Please note that we only confirm if the said bank account exists, and not if it belongs to you. We request you to make sure you’re entering the correct bank details. The verification is complete within 24 hours. You are now ready to receive online consultations.
Don’t worry, we have a few features that’ll help you make the patient feel at ease, and help you consult online effortlessly.
1. Calling or texting the patient: Hearing your voice will make the patient feel at ease, and you will be able to converse easily to elicit the patient’s history without typing a single word. Your number will be confidential and not be shared with the patient, and neither will you be billed for the call. We’ve taken care of everything else, so you can focus on taking care of the patient.
2. Sharing images: The patient can share images with you in the chat, so you can take a closer look, and diagnose more accurately. You will not be able to download the images but can refer to it by logging into the portal.
3. Prescriptions: With digital signatures, and a massive directory of drugs, generating an online prescription will be easier than ever.
Your fees will be sent to the provided bank account on a weekly basis after your consultation. We want to streamline the entire process and processing sometimes takes upto 2-3 days. You will also receive a settlement report on your registered email address with particulars of the payment, so you can keep track of payments easily.
We understand not all conditions can be diagnosed online, and sometimes you just need to see the patient in person. You can request the patient for a couple of hours within which the agent can visit the patients house with the telemedicine kit to facilitate the consultation. If the same is not possible, you can terminate the consultation and payment will be refunded to the patient.
When patients want an immediate consultation, they’re not sure which doctor to approach as the doctor might not be available to pick up the consultation at that moment. In such cases, patients want Abhicure to put them in touch with an available doctor. We call these ‘instant’ chat consultations. If you get a consultation request for such a consultation, only accept if you are free to respond immediately, and have a minimum of 30 minutes to complete the consultation. Since the user pays before the doctor is found, all such consultations have fixed consultation fees.
